XTP 1000D tac-poly fabric which gives this little fella a load of strength, durability AND water repellency. It comprises of one main compartment which is perfect for a pack of this size. It's a one day pack remember? The main hood covers this compartment and is secured using Duraflex quick release/close buckles. The Highlander Forces rucksack also features highly functional back padding with mesh airflow system to keep you comfortable AND dry during the warmer, more humid months. Combined with the ergonomically designed shoulder ,sternum and waist strap, you'll notice the difference against cheaper models. 3 external zip closure pouches( 2 side and 1 front) are perfect for those hard to lose items or those that you need frequently and are kept dry by the elastic edging around the top of the cover hugging the opening of the pocket. No 10 self -repairing zips mean a confident outing wherever it may be and a multitude of ice axe loops, molle straps and load bearing elastic cord ,to help secure rolled up jackets or wet towels , keep the Highlander Forces backpack as top contender for all outdoor pursuits.
